Prerequisites: Permission of the instructor.

Textbook: None

Description: Research involving library and laboratory work on problems of interest to student and instructor. For junior and senior students majoring in chemistry. 1 to 3 hours credit per semester not to exceed 6.

There are no examinations for this course. Instead, individual work is done by the student outside the classroom. Therefore final course letter grades are arrived at based upon the instructor's evaulation of this work.
