Programs
The
Mississippi Delta region has long been noted as having
a large population of under- and unemployed residents.
This population is often at a disadvantage when applying
for jobs because they lack basic job seeking skills.
This program is designed for those seeking a non-degree
format in which to enhance their skills in the job
market. Such people may, or may not, be interested
in a degree program, but are in need of work-shop
based, non credit courses for upgrading professional
skills or the enhancement of personal growth and development.
Admissions
Requirements
The
student must apply to Graduate and Continuing Studies
for admission to a specific certificate program. Graduate
and Continuing Studies will maintain student records
to monitor progress towards completion of the respective
certificate programs. Admission to this certificate
program does not indicate that the student is admissible
as a for-credit Delta State University student, nor
are these courses transferable to any DSU degree program.
