Independent
Study Courses
The Independent Study program is one of the many services
offered through Graduate and Continuing Studies. Independent
study courses are offered primarily for students who
want to continue their formal education but find it
difficult to do so through regular work on campus.
Independent study course content parallels on-campus
equivalents, yet provides flexibility in the structure
and delivery. Each course is designed around a study
guide, textbook, lessons, and exams. Qualified university
faculty serve as instructors.
