CRJ 640 A researcher was interested in studying the training level of law enforcement officers in the States of Mississippi and Arkansas. Five hundred seventy three officers agreed to participate in the study. Surveys were mailed out to these participants. The surveys consisted of questions on the number of officers in the law enforcement agency, the respondent’s duty assignment, whether the individual worked in a facility with a jail, and how many hours of formal training the officer had received since graduating from the law enforcement academy. The researcher wants to determine if there is any difference in the mean hours of training these officers have received (trainhrs) when considering for the officer’s duty assignment (assignmt) and the number of officers in the law enforcement agency (numoff). The results of this data collection are available in the data set jobsatisf.sav. As the researcher’s assistant you are to write up the results of the analysis by examining all relevant output. Be sure to include the hypotheses associated with any statistical tests in both statistical language and English.
