Two Way Analysis of Variance

A researcher is interested in determining whether there is a significant difference in the number of hours students spend studying each week when considering the factors of race and self rated drinking habit.  Fourteen hundred students were randomly sampled and asked to provide the number of hours (outside of class) that they studied each week.  The survey also collected information on the respondent’s race, age, drinking activity, and self rated drinking habit.  The data was collected and is available through the dataset binge.sav, which is located on the accompanying CD-ROM with the Babbie text.
