Research Interests

    My research focuses on adoption of innovations and information technology, and the impact of information technology implementation on individuals and organizations. Specifically, my research interests can be grouped into three themes: (a) What do the theoretical, technical, and cognitive perspectives tell is about the forces that make people or organizations adopt innovations or information technology? (b) What changes in information systems do innovations such as mobile technology induce? and (c) What is the value of social media and other innovative information technologies to individuals and organizations?

• Management of IS: Adoption and the impact of implementation on individuals and organizations
• Social networks: The impact of the user-IT artifacts interaction on individuals and organizations
• Innovation management: Mobile technology including m-SFA, m-Learning, and “personal information systems”
• Online & technology purchase (adoption) behavior: Net generation, online satisfaction, consumer knowledge
• Quantitative Methods: structural equation modeling including AMOS and PLS
• Lab experiment: Mobile technology adoption and implementation (Systems made in Visual Studio 2010)
