THE DELTA IN GLOBAL CONTEXT

Course Description: This course examines the concept of globalization, the dominant form of social change at the onset of the twenty-first century. Over the course of the semester, we will study various theories that explain global social change, and apply these theories to conditions in the Mississippi Delta and elsewhere.
