Assignment:  Write a two-page reflective essay on the readings using the following as a guideline:

Friedman argues that there are three fundamental factors influencing the rise of globalization. He refers to these as the democratization of technology, finance and information. Review the evidence that Friedman provides in discussing these changes, and critically engage his use of “democracy” as a concept.
