Assignment:  Write a two-page reflective essay on the readings using the following as a guideline:

Like other social institutions, corporations are social constructions – they are organizational entities created by human ingenuity with specified rules that govern their organization and activities.  What institutional rules are peculiar to corporations?  What benefits do these rules produce to corporations and to society?  How do these rules benefit corporations at the expense of society?  Draw on the cases provided by Korten to illustrate your answer.
