Using WebCT

Creating a WebCT Account:

(1)  Go to the Delta State University homepage.

(2)  Under "General Information" (left-hand side), click on "WebCT" at the bottom.

(3)  Click on "Create" myWebCT.

(4)  Enter the information requested.  Follow the instructions to create your own WebCT ID and password.

(5)  Remember the WebCT ID and password that you create, and use it to access WebCT in the future.

(6)  Add the course "SOC 485_585 Population and Environment."  Click "Add a Course," then click "College of Arts and Sciences," then click "SOC 485_585 Population and Environment."  Use the user ID and password provided in class to add the course (User ID = your first initial and last name, all lowercase, all together; password = last four digits of your SSN).  At all other times you use the user ID and password that you created.

(7)  Use the "Need Help" link on the WebCT homepage if you have trouble.

Using WebCT:

(1)  Go to the Delta State University homepage.

(2)  Under "General Information" (left-hand side), click on "WebCT" at the bottom.

(3)  Click on "Log on to" myWebCT.

(4)  Enter the WebCT ID and password that you created.

(5)  Click on "SOC 485_585 Population and Environment."

(6)  Click on the appropriate link to access course information.
