Topic:  The video “We All Live Downstream” portrays some causes and effects of toxic dumping in the Mississippi River.  Discuss these, applying Schnaiberg and Gould’s concept of the “enduring conflict” to understand the actions taken by the different groups shown in the video.  What issues of environmental justice arise in these cases?  What approaches might be taken to address these problems?
