Group Name:  Bolivar County Farmers and Business Alliance (BCFBA)

Group Members:  Michael Maloney, Bryan Wright, Lacy McCormick, Elliot Meador (Sustainable Bolivar Representative)

Group Characteristics:  You are large landowners who engage in cultivating cotton, corn, soybeans and rice, and small business owners in Cleveland, Boyle and Rosedale.  You frequently socialize with other business people through service clubs and at the Bolivar County Country Club, and you are members of one of a handful of churches where other businesspeople worship.  You also work together through the Chamber of Commerce.  You are very enthusiastic about businesses that exist in Bolivar County, but a little suspicious of new businesses that want to open up in Bolivar County.  You also are very suspicious of any ideologies or groups that threaten business interests, including government and private organizations.

Group Perspective:  You believe that commerce and commercial development advances humankind, that economic growth is fundamentally good, and that markets are the best system for organizing people.  You think it is important for development to be sustainable.
