The Delta Heritage Tour for International Students took place on September 4, 2004.  The students explored the land where the blues began, the “most Southern Place on Earth.”  While on the bus, there was talk about the Blues, the River, plantations, civil rights, and “going’ to Chicago.” Locations discussed included Dockery Farms, The Real Crossroads, Lil' Red School House in Drew (A Rosenwald School), Parchman Prison, Tutwiler, Shackup Inn, Ground Zero in Clarksdale, Friars Point Museum and The River.
