July 4, 2004 - The David

We visited the Accademia Gallery which houses The David but photos were not allowed.  There are 2 exact copies of The David in Florence.  One is at, as Collier says, "our meeting place" in Piazza della Signoria, and the other is as seen below in the Piazzale Michelangelo.  The Piazzale Michelangelo is a 2 mile walk (yes, I walked) to the top of a hill overlooking Florence
